Capt Drew A. Wacker is an Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies and Recruiting Officer at Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corp (ROTC) Detachment 415, University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. He is responsible for recruiting, training, educating and inspiring over 70 prospective officers to become the highest quality leaders of character in the United States Air and Space Force.
Capt Wacker commissioned through the Reserve Officer Training Corps, University of Wisconsin-Madison in May 2017. He graduated from Undergraduate Cyber Training at Keesler AFB, Mississippi in May 2018. As a Project Engineering at the 85th Engineering and Installation Squadron, Keesler AFB, he was tasked with engineering, building, extending, and projecting cyberspace dominance anywhere in the world within 72 hours. Capt Wacker also deployed in support of Operation(s) FREEDOM’S SENTINEL, INHERENT RESOLVE and RESOLUTE SUPPORT. Prior to assuming his current position, Capt Wacker was the Officer in Charge of Task Force Communications Engineering and Installation.
